The St. Agnes – St. Dominic Lower School Cross Country Team competed in the Elementary (3rd – 5th grade) and Middle School (6th.- 8th grade) Memphis Youth Athletics (MYA) West Tennessee State Qualifier at Shelby Farms on Saturday, October 14th. Michael Shallow, Eamon Shallow, and Laney Aaron finished the meet with qualifying times and represented SAA-SDS at the Elementary State Cross Country Championships hosted by Knoxville Youth Athletics in Knoxville, TN. Over 280 runners competed in each race, girls and boys. St. Dominic runners, Michael and Eamon, ran the mile in 6:32 and 7:04, respectively. St. Agnes runner, Laney, ran 7:10. Coach Jacob Reeves commended the young runners for their great times.
