CROSS COUNTRY - Total Fee $65 (Athletic Fee $15; Memphis Youth Athletics/MYA $50) + Uniform Tank

MYA Registration: Runners will be required to register online with MYA. MYA fees will be charged at that time.

Summer Running Opportunities - optional but encouraged as often as possible. More information will be shared by Coach Richard Murphy.

Practices: Official practices begin: week of Aug 10; practices 3-4 days/week.

Meets: Elementary (3rd-5th) - Mondays; Middle School (6th-8th) - Tuesdays; MYA Middle School Championship Meet @ Shelby Farms - dates TBD; Middle School Teams will also compete in a Shelby League Championship Meet - date/location TBD (tentative October 20).

FLAG FOOTBALL - Crosscheck League | Total cost = $220 (SDS Athletic Fee $25; Crosscheck Fee $195).

Open to boys in grades 1st - 4th. 

Crosscheck Registration: Players MUST complete an additional online registration for the Crosscheck League. The Crosscheck fee will be paid at that time. Registration link will be shared through TeamSnap as soon as it is available.

Crosscheck Fee: Includes reversible jersey, shorts, flags/belt, game day officials, & required insurance.

Practices: Begin (TENTATIVELY) Week of AUG 3; 2-3 practice per week through AUG. After AUG, practices will be limited to 3 hours or less per League guidelines. Practice days/times will depend on the availability of coaches.

Games: Begin after Labor Day - 8 game season; games played on Saturdays @ Grace Evangelical Church Fields; 5v5; Possibility for post season tournament play.

Teams: May be divided by grade level. Grade levels may be combined if necessary to fill the roster. Registration minimum per team =  7 and maximum = 10. Registration numbers will determine the total number of teams.

SOCCER  - JK Friday Night Lights - Coed

Open to girls and boys in Junior Kindergarten.

This is a co-ed in-house 3v3 "pick-up" style offering. Volunteer parents coach teams. Games are played on Friday Nights (6 weeks) beginning in September. T-shirt provided.

Great social event for players and parents.

SOCCER Kindergarten (5v5):  ESCRA U6 Coed, mid AUG-OCT

Cost: $80

Practice begins: week of Aug 10; 1 practice per week

Games begin: After Labor Day - 6 game season; games played on Saturdays 

Players must wear shin guards for all practices and games.

5v5 - with goalie; #3 size ball

Teams will be single gender; coed teams may be formed if absolutely necessary to form a team.

Jersey, shorts, & socks will be provided. Players must wear shin guards for all practices and games. Cleats are strongly recommended. Water bottles should be brought to every practice/game.

1st & 2nd Grade (U7/U8)  

1-2 practices per week. Practice days/times will be scheduled based on coaches’ availability.

Ball size: 1st/2nd - #3

3rd & 4th Grade (U9/U10)  

1-2 practices per week. Practice days/times will be scheduled based on coaches’ availability.

JK Coed Basketball  |  DEC- FEB

Practice and games will take place on Friday nights. Coed teams will be randomly assigned and will play each other. Game format will depend on numbers and preferences of coaches. Players will receive a reversible jersey to be worn at practices/games. Teams will be off during Christmas break.

Kindergarten Basketball  |  DEC - FEB 

Teams may be single gender or coed depending on the make-up of available competition. Practice/games will be on Friday nights. Players will receive a reversible game jersey. Teams will be off during Christmas break.

Basketball 1st-4th |  Boys/Girls ($80) Late OCT/early NOV - early FEB

Practice days/times will be determined by coach and gym availability.

Games begin in mid-Dec through early Feb. All games will be played on Saturdays. No games during Christmas Break.

Single gender grade-level teams will compete in the East Shelby Church Recreation Association (ESCRA). Teams will compete against other grade-level teams. Goal height - 8 1/2 ft. Players will receive uniform shorts and a reversible jersey.

NOTE: If registration numbers support more than one team in a grade level, players will be divided in an effort to create teams that are competitively comparable.
